Taking delivery of a sofa for an upstairs room

Buying a second hand sofa was the easy bit. My dodgy wrist and Sally’s sore back meant that getting it into our first floor room presented significant issues. The improvised crane and crevasse rescue techniques got us tantalisingly close but it was village dog walkers Andrew, Claire and house guest Linda that saved our bacon!

Sally is satisfied with the purchase and can’t be prised from her luxury recliner.
