Tree survey

To keep us occupied in lockdown we have just measured and tagged each tree on the Motte with a girth of one metre or more. Some of the fatter oaks are probably around 350 years old. In addition their a numerous smaller holly, hawthorn and blackthorn not to mention the 357 whips that the rabbits are currently munching their way through.
