We’ve been busy! We spent a couple of weeks putting our U.K. properties to bed for the winter and then slotted in a Medex reunion at the ODG in Langdale. After the COVID years it was great to meet up with friends in comfortable armchairs next to crackling logfires and drink tea after a thrash around some Lakeland fells.
The Pinfold was looking great when we left for the long flight to Annapolis.
Since being back in the USA it’s been all go. An OCC reception, a day at the Boatshow, a few nights with Rebecca and Sid Shaw in Falls Church and then tipping up the antifouling and applying Propspeed to the propeller in the hope it stays barnacle free in the tepid waters of the Caribbean.
With most of the essential pre-launch work now done we will have a couple of days to sightsee in Washington DC before driving south to the Mathews Yacht Club where we are giving a talk on Thursday.
