We left Annapolis minus our mainsail and diverted up the Choptank River to visit the OCC Port Officers there. We were so glad we made the diversion to this lovely small town whose autumn couloirs were bathed in slanting sunlight. Hundreds of geese flew over at dusk and the enjoyed the warmest possible reception from Margy and Jim Robfogel. Within an hour of docking at an immaculate Safe Harbors Marina we were being royally entertained and fed at the yacht club.
