On a dull, wet day in the Red Frog Marina, Sally and I finally wrestled 50kg of stainless steel onto the transom using the radar pole and the davits as cranes. My iPhone spirit level reckons its vertical in two planes but there’s scope for adjustment. The Hydrovane is now bolted firmly in place but will need some tweaking before it can be commissioned. As always we never have exactly the right tools to finish the job!
