Back at Traighuaine

Much coffee was drunk on our 400 mile journey to Traighuaine today with 3 re-charging stops along the way. The charges were all fast and efficient so our journey was only 90 minutes longer than it would have had we have burned 40 litres of diesel to get here. Amazing that, in the 4 years since we our electric car, battery sizes has increased from 35 kWatt hours to 100 kWatt hours with a tripling of range.

Anyway it’s great to be back in Argyll and see the fresh, green leaves on the oak trees that we planted as whips in 2008. The meadow was looking good in the afternoon sun and we are looking forward to a month of kayaking, cycling and catching up with friends in Argyll.
