Back in the darkest days of lockdown we managed to purchase the Motte & Bailey adjacent to the Pinfold. Since then we have removed approximately 50% of the bramble and, more importantly, the last sheep to grazed it in August 2020. With all the meadow nurturing and trees, both old and new, our little lockdown project is becoming a thing of great beauty. We came south from Scotland to see it for ourselves at the height of summer.
