Day three to Truman via Nathia Gali at 3,200m
Andy's gorgeous iPhone X liked Truman so much it decided to stay there - though we are not quite sure exactly where as the lodge owner was unable to find it when it's loss was noted at the end of the day. Having woken the entire lodge at 23.54 with an incoming phone call Andy had prudently switched to Airplane Mode which sadly means that 'find my phone' doesn't work.
Apart from the demise of the Apple bling the day was gorgeous. We climbed through tangled woodland and then broke out onto a high ridge where Griffon Vultures circled above trying to figure out which of us might make the next supper. But nobody succumbed and the vultures stayed hungry and gave up when we settled down for lunch with a spectacular Himalayan backdrop.
Then we pointed our boots down the hill and lost all the precious height we had gained that day. Down through the forests, terraces and villages to spend the night at 2,600m.
