Our trusty Yanmar 75hp had an appointment today with a couple of diesel mechanics. I picked up Kenny and Jonathon from the dock and Kenny and I watched as Jonathan did all the work which was great as an impeller change requires long arms and agile wrists. All was accomplished with precision and care and Kenny gave our engine the thumbs up for another few thousand hours.
In the late afternoon we let go the mooring lines at the Lunenburg Yacht Club and had a sunny journey through a couple of sets of narrows to Heckman’s anchorage where the plan is to do a little provisioning in Lunenburg tomorrow whilst more rain goes through.
