Cycling Mahone Bay trails

Yesterday we cycled in the fog and drizzle along the disused railway track towards Lunenburg. Today, in delicious sunshine with a blustery NE breeze, we completed the circuit with a mandated coffee stop in an 18th century period townhouse. Delightful.

We cycled past Princess Inlet, a forested hurricane hole, where each manicured waterfront house had a private, pristine dock, a mooring and a boat or two.

After today’s bike ride restoration of our own dock has moved up a notch and is now in the November retirement schedule. Maybe if I do do a good enough job on the dock and add a Zwicker bench for spotting otters a Scottish watercraft will follow?
