We are taking a break from laying up Shimshal for another Canadian winter (her 4th) and heading off to explore Nova Scotia in its autumn raiment. A bit of wind is forecast tomorrow and we are hoping that some of the stunning , red maple leaves will hang on long enough for us to make the most of them. Tomorrow we head west and Monday north to the Annapolis Valley. The rental car is crammed with bikes, an inflatable kayak and a selection of cameras so we should have a busy couple of weeks.
