Today 20 oak, 20 rowan and 20 birch (all locally sourced) got planted at Traighuaine. We did use some plastic protectors due to the number of red deer in the area. It’s 14 years since we planted 50 oak saplings here and they are all doing very nicely even though the deer chewed a few.
