We took the bus from David to Almirante and then bounced to Bocas in the water taxi who slowed down a little in deference to the afternoon wind-blown chop. We missed the free water taxi back to the Red Frog Marina and so took a local boat that returned us via some of the other villages on Islas Basimientos. High speed weaving through island of mangrove.
With the boat in decommissioning disarray we were pleased to have a coffee rendezvous in Bocas with Howard and Dianne Dryden of S/V Copepod. Exciting times for them as they are in the process of buying a chunk of rain forest to make it their home and a base for their science.
