Another perfect for cycling - not too hot, not too cool and no wind or rain. Much of the first leg of today’s ride was along the river bank where we dodged fallen trees, flood barriers and slimy mud from the recent flooding. Much of the way was closed but the barriers were easily dodged.
After passing the bug hotel we climbed inexorably towards our first pass of this trip. Komoot tackled the slopes head on which meant some pushing on the very steep sections to our lunch at the halfway point on the pass. Then came 20 miles of swooping down hill through villages, flood plains and pastures.
