A leisurely start for a short day to bled. First came a speedy descent down a gentle incline followed by an uphill slog. The reward was a descent through a lovely valley through deciduous woodland alonside a gushing river.
Soon after we came to Bled with its lake, castle and island church. The rain kept away but things are looking less favourable for the next few days. Staying dry may be a challenge.
