A perfectly flat bike ride along the shores, dykes and swamps led to Grado. A flock of flamingoes, grebes, rafts of ducks, raucous geese and flights of swans adorned the scenery.
The severe (orange) weather warning persists and so we are booked on the bike shuttle to Salzburg tomorrow to avoid the worst of it.
